Implant post: a small titanium screw placed into the jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root.
Abutment: a connector piece attached to the implant post once it has fused with the bone, linking the post to the visible restoration.
Restoration: The porcelain crown, bridge, or denture that replaces the visible part of the tooth or teeth, custom-shaded and shaped to match your smile.
